Well, we survived our trip home...wow it was hot down there! It was great to see family and friends, I hope to maybe make it down there again in Sept/Oct so more to come maybe after the move and the Vegas trip next month
Well, how did the flights back go? Matt did great on both. He slept the 2nd flight from Memphis to RDU which was great since it was the longer of the 2 flights and he cracked a huge smile when he saw his Dad at the airport!
Now that we are home, it is back to the usually routine, he is not sleeping through the night, but did stay up to about 920ish...he just woke up at 1 and again at 3 to eat...so hopefully this will iron itself out in the next few weeks and we can get back to 10pm-5am sleep-schedule which was looking good while at the Fontenot residence.
Queenie as so excited to see me...she of course is following me around and even licking Matt on the leg here and there...just so excited to see us home and available to give her some attention.
I am finally catching up with my on-line extended students and hope all of them get their stuff in by the 25th of June which is near their deadline so I can grade and be done with them before our move and loss of Internet...I also need to get on setting up the new classroom for my new Exercise phys course I start this fall and my Anatomy and Phys course in this new virtual classroom software...so much to do...
I got to the gym today and church so this Sunday is so far looking quite productive...Matt of course had a huge blow-out at church and b/c we were in a hurry to make it on-time I forgot to get a new outfit in the diaper bag so Matt spent most of Church wrapped in a blanket with a diaper...yep, I was that parent...hey, at least we were at church...
Next week is Matt's Baptism and well, these 3-6month clothes are getting to be (some not all) kinda tight so thank goodness we are finally getting to the Baptism so his outfit we bought will still fit. I will get pictures posted to Facebook next week on that.
So I did weigh myself this morning and I am holding strong at 163lbs...so no gains despite the less activity and the rich good foods I indulged upon while in Louisiana...I teach my last 2 cycling classes this week at VQ in NC so hopefully with that and getting some runs in this week I can maybe get to that 160lb mark by end of the week...then it is just the last 10lbs to go...which I know are the hardest to get off...but at 4 months I am so thankful to have lost so much of the weight and to be back in my size 10 clothes...
Ok, this post is getting long, until tomorrow which hopefully will be a better night of sleep!
