Well, it has been a while and many of you have followed us on this journey so this is not a surprise and some know due to the privilege of being family members who were let in on our secret a while back, but we Bought a minivan this weekend, a Toyota Sienna, it is the nicest car and most expensive I have ever owned...and it is in anticipation of our huge move to St. Louis this summer and the arrive of Baby Granier #2 which is due October 28th!
We were successful with our frozen transfer back in Feb, and while it was for a short period of time looking like 3 babies and a very miserable pregnancy, things workout out and at 6 weeks one baby had a wonderful heartbeat and growth while the other 2 looked (sadly) like they were not going to continue onward. At 10 weeks, again, great news, our little one continued to grow and progress, I no longer had those nasty shots, pills and patches to take and we are now 12 weeks and out of the danger zone! We are super excited and of course the minivan will help us carry 2 little ones, Queenie, and friends and family so please consider a vacation or visit to St. Louis after July for a visit...or course, around Halloween I might be out of touch for a little while :)
Our next appointment and ultrasound is scheduled 7 May here in Richmond. I will be 15 weeks...we are planning to do the old fashioned "surprise" on this one so we plan to not find out and 15weeks is early to possibly tell anyway so I think it works to our favor....of course with the surprise we will not decide on names until October so don't ask...we have not agreed on anything yet and it might be more challenging this time around as Jay and I have both strong ideas on what we want.
So no travel for us this Thanksgiving or Christmas and with 2 little ones in our future unless you are close for us to drive our swanky Minivan, chances are you might need to plan on visiting us...sorry, part of it is just logistics of travel with little ones...hope you can understand!
More to come, and more of course on Matthew, they will be 19 months apart so now we have to really start getting him into a big-boy role and away from pacifiers, bottles and the crib...of course the move may help as it can all get packed up and not unpacked until the baby arrives....
Thanks for all the love, support and well-wishes, it was tougher and yet easier this time around, the drugs were not as fun and seem to cause more problems but now we are past that and I just hope to not gain as much weight or have my wrist/forarm issues as soon or as badly...
Love
The Granier's
It would be great if Baby Granier is a Oct. 11th child because, of course, they are the best! ;)
ReplyDeleteMany great dates in October, but I think October 22nd would be best!!!!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to have the Graniers in St Louis; I am Bessie's aunt, Godmother and anxious to have the entire family where I have lived for 30 years now - Missouri is a great place!
